The Expandable Bite Eliminator - Safety Instructions
Keep the expanding rodent eliminator and the corresponding ammunition locked and inaccessible to children. Persons under 18 years of age are prohibited from handling the Expandable Bite Eliminator! Store the expansive rodent killer and the ammunition separately. Never point the mouth of the device against your body or against other persons. Do not place your hand in front of the mouthpiece.
Expandable Bite Eliminator - Use
Do not use the Expansion Mole Eliminator near public roads and areas. Do not use if children or pets may be endangered. The device must only be used for its intended purpose. If used incorrectly, there is a risk of severe injury from the jet of gases produced by the explosion of the cartridge.
Expansion bite killer - holding
When handling, hold the device with the handle upwards. The device may only be handled in a partially tensioned or untensioned state! If you are not using the Expansion Mole Killer, unscrew the cartridge chamber from the device.
Expansion Mole Killer - Charging
Before each use, in the uncharged state, check that the functional surfaces are clean and all moving parts move freely. After checking the free running of the charge chamber threads, detach this again from the device!
Push the charging lever towards the handle and fold the safety eye over it. Carry out all further handling of the instrument only in this state! Insert a 9x17mm cartridge into the chamber. Screw the cartridge chamber to the stop into the instrument.
Partially cocked instrument (A). In this condition, the firing pin is fully inserted in the instrument. Insert the instrument into the bite hole. Push the tension lever against the handle and secure with the eye of the trigger lever.
Release the eye of the safety. The instrument is now loaded and armed!
Discharging the ejected cartridge. Partially tension and secure the instrument. Unscrew the cartridge chamber and remove the ejected cartridge. Always unscrew and unload the chamber, even if you do not want to use the instrument again immediately. This will ensure that no failed cartridge remains in the chamber. The cartridge can be removed from the chamber through the muzzle using a suitable object such as a nail.
Expansion bite eliminator - unloading an unfired cartridge (unfired device)
Fold the eye of the safety back over the tension lever. Pull the trigger lever backwards. The tension lever is caught by the eye of the safety - the device is in a partially tensioned state. Remove the instrument from the bite hole, unscrew the cartridge chamber and remove the cartridge.
Expansion bite eradicator - functions of the device
The device is designed for the 9x17mm cartridge. In the case of cartridges made by the German company Jobb GmbH, a cartridge with a yellow marking is recommended! Some ammunition manufacturers do not provide a hole in the choke of the cartridge by crimping and thus the cartridge is not moisture-tight. Prolonged storage of the instrument in the passageway may cause the powder charge to become wet and malfunction. If you are going to use such a cartridge, cover the bore with varnish, paraffin, silicone, etc. The biter is killed by the high pressure of the combustion gases, which will rupture its lungs. In many cases, the body of the rodent is thrown back 20 to 30 cm into the passageway. Unlike other types of traps, the gnawer is reliably killed even when the trigger is activated by the soil it throws in front of it.
Expansion Bite Eliminator - Maintenance
After each use, rinse the device with warm water to remove sand and soil. Pay particular attention to the cleanliness of the cartridge chamber threads. The instrument will reward you with impeccable long-term function.
