The well-known and proven Hunter 440 model is very lightweight and features a beautiful double-sided Monte Carlo-style wooden stock with an ergonomic recoil pad and a rifled 4.5mm barrel. The rifle has a one-piece beechwood stock. The rifle's handle has a non-slip texture, which in addition to its aesthetic benefits, prevents the rifle from slipping in the hands.
The trigger lock ensures safe shooting - its adjustable lever is located inside the bolt (trigger guard) just before the trigger safety. In the locked position, this lever prevents a finger from being comfortably placed on the trigger, and even a conscious squeeze of the trigger will not cause a shot to be fired.
The rifle is equipped with open mechanical sights with optical fibers: a red one in the middle and two green ones on the sides, adjustable vertically and horizontally. Mounting of optical or collimator sights is possible thanks to the 11mm standard mounting rail on the rear. This rail is raised by approximately 6mm, allowing the sight to be used with a larger objective on a lower mount.
